Isla San Ildefonso, Mexico
Isla San Ildefonso is a re,ote island in the Sea of Cortez accessed from Punta Conception. It rises from very deep water and so attracts the larger fishes including Manta, Mobula and various whale and shark species.
It is also home to a large bird population including the Western Seagulls, Herrmann's Gulls, California Pelicans, a variety of Tern species, Cormorants, Frigate birds, and Boobies.
