Basse-Terre, Guadeloupe
Basse-Terre is a commune in the French overseas department of Guadeloupe, in the Lesser Antilles. It is also the capital city of Guadeloupe. The city of Basse-Terre is located on Basse-Terre Island, the western half of Guadeloupe.
